This Rancho Santa Fe family trusted Vance Design to come back in and transform the primary suite, laundry room, and bathroom, and we loved every minute of it.The primary suite is soft, serene, and completely intentional. A natural wood four-poster canopy bed frame, woven shades, dusty blue and linen textiles, and warm brass accents create a room that feels like a true retreat. Coastal without being literal about it. Calm without being boring.

The laundry room got a full redesign that makes an often overlooked space genuinely enjoyable to be in. Warm wood cabinetry, cement tile flooring, floating shelves, and a dedicated folding counter bring both function and a finished quality that carries through from the rest of the home.The bathroom is the standout of the project. A bold blue botanical print wallpaper wraps the space and completely transforms it, paired with warm wood vanities, an arched mirror, and brass fixtures that tie back to the palette running throughout the suite. It is the kind of design decision that takes confidence and it paid off.
