The Keeneland Project
Bressi Ranch Carlsbad, Ca
This 6,200 square foot full home remodel in the prestigious Bressi Ranch community of Carlsbad is one of Vance Design's most comprehensive transformations to date. Every inch of this sprawling residence was reimagined inside and out, resulting in a home that delivers timeless transitional elegance with the warmth and livability that California families demand.
The kitchen is an absolute showpiece, anchored by a custom painted wood range hood, cream shaker cabinetry with glass uppers, brushed gold hardware, and a dramatic encaustic patterned tile backsplash framed behind a professional range. Thick slab quartz countertops and a well-proportioned layout make the space as functional as it is beautiful, while the seamless connection to the surrounding living areas keeps the home feeling open and cohesive throughout.
Multiple living spaces were redesigned with the same level of intention, each with its own personality yet unified by a shared design language of white millwork, coffered ceilings, board and batten wall treatments, warm hardwood floors, and a consistent palette of cream, warm grey, and rich cognac leather. The two-story great room is particularly striking, featuring soaring ceilings, a wall of windows overlooking the backyard, a classic fireplace with built-in flanking shelves, and generous seating arrangements designed for both everyday living and large-scale entertaining.
A dramatic matte black glass cabinet built-in, a statement chandelier speak to the level of detail carried throughout every room. The formal dining space, breakfast nook, and multiple sitting areas each offer their own curated moment while contributing to a whole-home design narrative that feels refined, grounded, and deeply considered.
At 6,200 square feet, this Bressi Ranch remodel stands as a benchmark project for large-scale residential interior design in North County San Diego.
